Blizzard unveiled its roadmap for the World of Warcraft Classic Wrath of the Lich King release this week. There are also a few other important dates to keep an eye on as well.

The expansion itself will be released on September 26, but the game designers have also given players an idea of when theyll be able to take part in the first few raids that the expansion will feature.

Three raids will be available during the first week of the expansion: Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and Obsidian Sanctum.

The journey to Northrend will begin on August 30. https://t.co/FT05NXZAl7 pic.twitter.com/ePkhQlxbDa

Delaying the release of raids is a common practice in WoWs retail client, allowing players to gain some time to build up and prepare for raids before going into boss battles.

When will Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and Obsidian Sanctum be released?

Beginning October 6th at 5pmCT, players will be able to enter WoLK's first three raids. This will be a worldwide release, as has been the case for most of WoW Classic high-end content. Players will have a total of ten days till the release of the expansion.

The global launch of the expansion will take place on September 26. For those who like to play, Arena season five will start shortly after the expansion and its raids on October 4 and 5; so when the season starts will depend on where you play. North American players can expect to have the season open on that Tuesday, and European realms will be able to join in the following day.
