The Intel Arc A580 is a relatively new graphics card, but it should theoretically match the budget-friendly A380 and flagship A770 GPUs. Now, the pixel pusher has appeared in the wild and appears to compete with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 in a newly discovered benchmark.
The Intel Arc A580 has achieved a score of 9,300 and a 95fps average at the Min_1080p preset level, by using the Vulkan API rather than DirectX 12. RTX 3060 performance ranges between 75 and 96fps, indicating that the team blue graphics card may be slightly more powerful.
Ashes of the Singularity does not provide enough information about system specifications to ascertain how true these benchmark results are. We may therefore need to wait a while longer to discover how these graphics cards stack up against each other.
The Intel Arc A580 and its blue brethren might end up redundant in the ever-increasing battle for the title of the best graphics card, and with the Intel Arc A380 finally going on sale in the United States, it will not be long before other Alchemist GPUs emerge.
