In the first developer diary, player-generated content is the heart of Meet Your Maker ...

Meet Your Maker may be the most popular outpost defense game. Players will set out to raid other players' outposts, searching for pure genetic material and returning it to their hungry host, the Chimera.

Behaviour Interactive has released its first developer diary to explain the process behind creating Meet Your Maker. The studios aim to provide players with as many tools as they can think up to stimulate as much creativity when constructing these evil traps. Once created, a player spends as much time as they want on their project, putting it to the test.

It's crucial that how much effort a player puts into their outpost is beneficial because it gives others who want to raid something to look forward to conquering. This dynamic creates a fluid back-and-forth between artists and raiders, potentially spiraling into the Meet Your Maker community, becoming an enjoyable competition between everyone. Hopefully, it's a good way to motivate raiders to come up with ideas they can copy back to their outpost and use on anyone who wants to attack them.

Meet Your Maker is scheduled to be released in 2023. There will be an early access playtest leading up to the game's release. Anyone interested in trying out Meet Your Maker before its official release may register for this playtest session and wait for confirmation.
