Ming-Na Wen of The Mandalorian provides a second season 2 update on the Book of Boba Fett ...

Ming-Na Wen has given fans an update on a second season of The Book of Boba Fett, expressing hope that an announcement would be made soon.

The show, which launched late last year, is yet to be confirmed for a second season, though things were left in a manner that a follow-up season might occur.

Wen spoke at Fan Expo Boston to discuss if Boba Fett and her character Fennec Shand's actions might be further explored.

"I hope you get a second season of The Book of Boba Fett," she said. "I never count my chickens before they hatch, because in this business you just never know. But knock on wood, they'll be announcing that soon, I hope."

Temuera Morrison, a fellow star who starred in the Mandalorian spin-off series, admitted that he would have done "a little bit different."

"Feeling the pride from all fans, feeling that we've accomplished something worthwhile," he told ScreenRant.

Morrison continued, saying, "I'm extremely proud and just grateful for the wonderful opportunity to play Boba Fett." Together, they had a great connection, and she had been my confidant, and it was a great duo effort."

"I don't know," he said, adding that now that I'm back at it, it's just one of those things. "When you look back, things are great, but there are occasions where I may have done something completely different.

"But again, it's just fantastic for me to work with Jon [Favreau] and become a part of the Mandalorian family."

Andor is the next Star Wars production in the pipeline, which will follow Rogue One's Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and the birth of the Rebellion, with the program set to launch with three episodes on September 21.

On Disney+, The Book of Boba Fett is available for streaming.
