Season 19 of Grey's Anatomy confirms ten returning regulars, plus who's been moved to recurring stat ...

It's clear that a Greys Anatomy cliffhanger or ten is over, doesn't it? ABC on Thursday revealed which of the long-running medical dramas cast members will return as series regulars in Season 19 (which kicks off on Thursday, October 6, at 9/8c).

Chandra Wilson (Bailey) and James Pickens Jr. (Richard) are among the newest actors returning to Season 18 after Owen and Teddy ended Season 18 on the run from the law with their children; on-screen newlyweds Kelly McCreary (Maggie) and Anthony Hill (Winston); Camilla Luddington (Jo); and Jake Borelli, who faced an uncertain future when the Grey Sloans residency program was closed in the finale.

Consider how many actors have been hired to play new residents, we're going out on a limb and say the program will be restarted sooner than later.

Scott Speedman, who plays Nick Meredith's significant other, has been bumped from series-regular to recurring status for Season 19 in related news. Which makes sense when you consider that Ellen Pompeo will only appear in Season 19 in a limited capacity said to be eight episodes (or less than half of the roughly 20-23 that will be produced).

So, which returnee are you most excited to see return? What do you anticipate for the Grey Sloans docs in Season 19?
