More details about Netflix's popular dystopian series Black Mirror are still being developed. According to Deadline reports, the upcoming season will include Rory Culkin. Beetz (Atlanta), Paapa Essiedu (The Lazarus Project), and Danny Ramirez (Top Gun:Maverick).
Culkin's role is a mystery, however Deadline claims that the actor has signed a contract to be a part of a single episode of the anthology series that will have more episodes than Season 5, which had only three episodes, while the roles for the previously announced casts have been revealed.
Black Mirror, an award-winning dystopian series, was put on hiatus for three years by a shake-up in the studios involved in its development. House of Tomorrow, the company that once owned Endemol Shine Group, was able to restart production in June 2019. According to Netflix, Black Mirror Season 6 will be released under Broke & Bones, a Netflix-backed company.
Black Mirror's speculative fictional plot has received mixed reviews, but the series has held its ground among international viewers in part due to its strong casting. Miley Cyrus, Andrew Scott, and Anthony Mackie were among the actors who joined the cast for the sixth season, and it appears Netflix is once again relying on their talents to bring the beloved series to new heights.
Culkin, who is the younger brother of fellow actors Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone) and Kieran Culkin (Succession) started his career in the entertainment business after his older brothers' stories. His most recent film is You Can Count on Me, directed by Kenneth Lonergan, with Joaquin Phoenix and Mel Gibson.
While work on the sixth season of Black Mirror has already begun, Netflix has yet to set a release date; however, you may still catch up on the first five seasons that are available to stream on Netflix.
