Kirby is just a pink round boy with big eyes and an irresistible face in any video game character. We want to cuddle and squeeze him! For today's brand new Kirby game, Kirby's Dream Buffet, Kirby looks like Kirby needed to be even wider!
@ObscureKirby has examined Kirby's character model in the party game, which sees Kirby play various food-themed minigames and challenges, and has discovered that Kirby's model is more round than it was in his previous game, Kirby and the Forgotten Land (Thanks, NintendoSoup!)
This bigger, better Kirby comes in at 22,844 vertices, compared to 22,844 for his forgotten Land model. Even if we count his main body, there's still a difference of just under 7,000 vertices, with Dream Buffet leading the way.
Kirby's time is limited, but it makes sense as there are a lot of delicious treats that Kirby must sample in the Dream Buffet. It should make the little guy move much easier!
We'll publish a review of Kirby's Dream Buffet in the near future, but in the meantime, why not check out the video from last week to see what kinds of delights await you!
Kirby's rounder model is great, but are you convinced that he's still talented? We certainly do. Drop by the comments to let us know!
