Shin'en Multimedia, a fast RMX developer, wants a "new" wave race game on Switch, according to rando ...

Tomorrow, Wave Race 64 will be released on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service, and as much as we love this N64 classic, a brand new one would be nice.

Fast RMX, Art of Balance, and The Touryst developer Shin'en Multimedia has also suggested a "modern remix" of the N64 game, which has been dubbed one of the best games ever.

"Wave Race 64! One of the greatest games ever." Perhaps a modern ReMiX.

Unsurprisingly, this response was enough to spark a lot of speculation among Nintendo and Wave Race enthusiasts. Some even considered the idea of a "remix" of the GameCube and Nintendo 64 game to be a good idea.

Wave Race has always been a visual demonstration of Nintendo's hardware, and Shin'en (as emphasized by many of its followers) has a history of displaying impressive graphics on Nintendo systems with games such as Fast RMX and The Touryst. So it may be a game made in heaven (assuming this isn't already some sort of tease).

F-Zero is another Nintendo series that we're certain would be the perfect match with this developer. The N64 entry was most recently included on the Switch Online, but we haven't seen a new one in a very long time. So, Nintendo, please give this group a chance.

When Wave Race 64 will be released on the Switch Online + Expansion Pack service tomorrow, will you be able to see it? Would you like to see Shin'en Multimedia give a shot with a series like Wave Race or F-Zero? Leave a comment below.
