Games Complete This weekend, the Flame Fatales, a quick all-women speedrunning marathon, will begin ...

Flame Fatales is a women's speedrunning tournament that will benefit the Malala Fund this weekend.

The annual speedrunning tournament will begin on August 21 and run until August 27. The marathon will be available on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel for fans to see their favorite speedrunners compete in a slew of different games.

The goal of the broadcast is to both highlight women in the speedrunning community and raise money for a charity. The Malala Fund, which is the charity GDQ is working with for this marathon, is a non-profit that works to ensure free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world. Last year, the GDQ all-women marathon raised over $125,000 for the Malala Fund.

Fans can expect to see games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and Stardew Valley during the broadcast, among others. Examples include Disneys 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue, Hello Kitty and Sanrio Friends Racing, and Boyfriend Dungeon.

The Malala Fund will receive one hundred percent of donations made during the Flame Fatales marathon.

The whole schedule for the marathon can be found on the GDQ website. Women will race through their games starting at 12pm CT, and the first game will be Unpacking. Speedrunning will continue throughout the week until the event concludes at 12am CT on August 27.
