All MTG Dominaria United booster medications

All MTG Dominaria United booster medications ...

Dominaria United will get some new Magic: The Gathering inspired stained glass treatments, as well as borderless and textured foil.

WotC is using a less invasive approach to Dominaria United. Two booster fun treatments will only be included in the Standard-legal set, stained glass and borderless, with the addition of textured foil treatments applied to stained glass legends. All Draft, set, and collector booster packs will contain non-foil and foil versions of the two booster fun treatments.

Stained glass MTG treatments

With a cycle of basic lands that incorporate patterns into land elements, stain glass treatment returns to Standard. Basic lands are available in Draft, set, and collector boosters; foil versions are only available in collector boosters.

Within DMU, the booster fun treatment was also extended to legendaries, with every legendary creature having a Showcase stained glass treatment version. Each of these versions pays tribute to the original art while expanding on the characters depicted within.

In Draft, set, and collector booster packs, players may find stained glass legendary creatures (non-foil and foil). There will also be a textured foil version of DMU legendary creatures, similar to what was used in Double Masters 2022. The frame will have the textured foil treatment.

The stain glass treatment on the DMU set is the second in Magic to be implemented, with War of the Spark being the first. It's possible that the stain glass treatment will be carried over into future Dominaria sets over the next year.

Borderless MTG treatment

The four planeswalkers in the DMU setJaya, Liliana, Teferi, and Ajani will receive a borderless booster fun treatment. Because they are legends, the planeswalkers will also have stained glass treatment versions, which are thematically tied together.

The DMU Pain lands will also have a borderless treatment, as well as a variety of creatures and spells. Players may find non-foil and traditional foil borderless planeswalkers and Pain lands in Draft, set, and collector booster packs.
