Blizzard unveiled their roadmap for the World of Warcraft Classic Wrath of the Lich King release this week. Along with a pre-release patch beginning at the end of August, there are also a few other important dates to keep an eye on.
The expansion itself will be released on September 26, but the game designers have given players a rough idea of when theyll be able to take part in the first few raids that the expansion will offer.
Players will be able to access three raids: Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and Obsidian Sanctum during the first week of the expansion.

Delaying the release of raids gives players a little bit of time to level up and acquire gear to prepare for raids before getting into boss battles, which is a common practice in WoWs retail client.
When will Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and Obsidian Sanctum be released?
Players will be able to play WoLK's first three raids starting October 6 at 5pmCT. This will be a worldwide release, as has been the case for most of WoW Classic high-end content. This gives players a period of 10 days from the release of the expansion.
The global launch of the expansion will be held on September 26 and, for PvPers out there, Arena season five will begin shortly before raids start on October 4 and 5, depending on where you play. North American players can anticipate to have the season open on that Tuesday, and European realms will be able to join in the following day.
