The Call of Duty Season 5 roadmap includes additional changes and weapons for Warzone and Vanguard ...

It's almost time to call it quits on Vanguard and its corresponding content in Warzone. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is coming to an end soon.

The game has announced a new map, improvements to Caldera, and a new multiplayer mode for players to try out.

Some of the new content, such as the new weapons, will be available in both Warzone and Vanguard. Last Stand will also include five new weapons for players to use, including a prototype Energy Rifle that appears to be capable of smashing through enemies with sci-fi precision.

New villainous operators are coming to both Vanguard and Warzone, including Menendez, who is a well-known warzone player who will either try to save Caldera or blow it to smithereens.

The Peak POI is going to be impacted by lava flows now pouring down the sides of Peak, as well as the volcanic activity there, bringing the map back to life.

Vanguard includes a new Zombies map and experience, as well as a new ranked season, new items to use, and more. While most CoD players are not waiting for MWII, there should be enough content available for them for the last few months of Vanguard to fill the CoD gap.

The Last Stand will be unveiled on August 24.
