OpTic Texas has reportedly announced that iLLeY and Dashy, both of whom announced themselves as free agents yesterday, will be on the teams' 2023 Call of Duty League roster.

Back for 22-23, according to an OpTic Texas Twitter accountScump, Dashy, iLLeY, and Shotzzy were all tagged and included in a short video in which Run it back can be seen overhead of the players.

Although it is possible that OpTic never planned to break up with iLLeY or Dashy, on a Twitch stream today, Dashy said the move was not a troll and there is no foul blood.

Dashy and iLLeY's announcement that they would leave the OpTic roster came as a surprise to most in the CoD community since Dashy was a finalist for the 2022 CDL MVP award, and iLLeY was unable to participate in the season due to a thumb injury, which seemed to partially derail a promising season that began with a Major One victory for OpTic.

Without the threat of the most popular team in the league, the rest of the CDL may continue to build their 2023 season rosters.
