Ooblets and its adorable little dancing creatures are leaving early access on both Xbox and PC next month. And the developers behind the game announced today that the adorable life sim will be released for Switch on September 1.
Ooblets is a bit of a hodgepodge, combining gameplay from life sims like Stardew Valley and the ability to collect Pokemon in dance-offs, and now it's getting a full 1.0 release on Switch next month.
Glumberland, an indie studio, has developed Ooblets, which has received enormous response from both critics and fans since it was first released. Today, the studio has released a new teaser for the life sim as part of its announcement of the 1.0 update and the Switch port release date.
When I first played Ooblets in 2020, I fell in love with it. Here's what I had to say back then:
Ooblets have a lot of stuff to offer, activities to try out, obstacles to complete, furniture to purchase, and farming to be completed. You can grow new plants to sell, eat, or even collect seeds from Ooblets that you have defeated.
Glumberland claims to have extended the game's main storyline since then.
