Dynamite will face CM Punk against Jon Moxley in a World title unification match ...

Jon Moxley, who has won the Interim World Championship, will face AEW World Champion CM Punk in a title unification match on Next Wednesday's Dynamite (August 24).

After being out since early June, CM Punk returned to AEW on last week's Dynamite (August 10).

On May 29, Punk won the AEW World Championship at Double Or Nothing, but just five days later he announced he would have to withdraw from the ring to recover from an injury.

Punk was stripped of the AEW Championship by the company, but instead chosen a new interim champion, announcing a tournament that was won by Jon Moxley at the Forbidden Door in June.

After Moxley successfully defeated Chris Jericho, Punk made his return in the ring last week. The two champions are facing off in the ring.

On Wednesday's (August 18) Dynamite, fans anticipated that the match to unify the two titles will be held at All Out on September 3.

CM Punk came to the ring and first issued a challenge to former AEW Champion Hangman Page.

Before the two brawled, he turned to Moxley, who came out to answer and accept Punk's offer for a match against All Out.

Moxley clings to Tony Nese at the top of the entrance ramp later in the show, requesting that Punk come out and fight him for the titles.

Punk then appeared, and the two had a massive brawl before they were pulled apart again. It was then announced that the AEW World title would be unveiled on next Wednesday's Dynamite rather than at All Out.

Fans of All Out, which is just weeks away, are still waiting for the announcement of the unification match.
