Colman Domingo has won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Ali in Euphoria at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 4.
Tom Pelphrey of Ozark was among the other nominees for Domingo's roles in Season 3. HBO's Succession had an outstanding performance in the category, with Adrien Brody, James Cromwell, Arian Moayed, and Alexander Skarsgard each receiving a nomination.
Domingo has been a key cast member of Fear the Walking Dead since Season 1 of which he has played Victor Strand. He has also had award-winning roles in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom in 2020 and Zola, released the same year.
Domingo plays Ali Muhammed, a recovering addict who meets Rue (Zendaya) at Narcotics Anonymous and becomes her sponsor on her own journey to recovery. It will be interesting to see where his character will go in Season 3.
This part weekend, the Creative Arts Emmys were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, in a ceremony that spanned two nights. The program will be edited into one program, and will air on FXX on September 10th, leading up to the Primetime Emmy Awards, which will air on September 12.
