The Warhammer Fantasy setting at Games Workshops is a unique beast. It was once a particular thing (dark high fantasy), then it was renamed Warhammer Age of Sigmar (hard to explain), and now it appears like theyre bringing true Warhammer Fantasy back (via Warhammer: The Old World).

7.Blood Bowl 2
Blood Bowl is a tabletop version of Blitz: The League, except with orcs, elves, and trolls. It is a fun (and funny) tabletop game that has become one of the staple entries in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. However, Blood Bowl 2 is a great distraction for those who may already be familiar with the game's environment.

6.Warhammer: Chaosbane
Eko Software and Bigben Interactives Warhammer: Chasobane is a fantastic Diablo game with a fresh coat of Warhammer paint, with a fun, yet repetitive, gameplay loop that lasts a while. It's still a fun game that really gets the Gothic, decrepit beauty of Warhammer Fantasy right.

5.Mordheim: City of the Damned
Rogue Factor and Focus Home Interactives Mordheim: City of the Damned is a strange, challenging take on the XCOM formula that follows the game's narrative. It is a game that takes the player in a third-person perspective similar to Valkyria Chronicles, with permadeath and permanent injuries that make the long game more difficult.

4.Warhammer: Dark Omen
The Warhammer: Dark Omen tabletop game from Games Workshops is fairly simple, with melee, ranged, and artillery battles in a variety of terrains.

3.Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat
A lot of people prefer Warhammer: Dark Omen to its previous titles. I am not one of those people. This 1995 strategy game is unmistakably Warhammer. From the dark but campy cutscenes to the over-the-top battle dialogue, Shadow of the Horned Rat is unmistakably Warhammer.

2.Warhammer: Vermintide 2
Fatsharks Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a 2018 first-person, co-op horde survival game set in the End Times (a somewhat slow apocalypse of sorts that ushered in the Age of Sigmar) setting. The variety of enemies is as surprising as the level design which is only enhanced with the wonderful DLC campaigns.

Total War: Warhammer 2 was reimagined as a tabletop battle game that took everything fantastic from the first game and refined it to near perfection: spooky maps, ever-chaotic battlefields, every narrative intrigue you could wish for in a Warhammer Fantasy game, and beautifully detailed graphics all combine to make this the best Warhammer Fantasy game on the market today.
