Since season 24, professional dancer Emma Slater hasnt returned to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom with a Mirrorball trophy.
Her season 31 partner has now been revealed, leaving some fans to wonder if this will be her first season to win the trophy.

According to the insider Kristyn Burtts website, Slater has been paired with an actor who was once a teenager heartthrob formillennials.
Slater Is Partnered With Trevor Donovan

Slater has teamed up with Trevor Donovan, who is well-known for his role as Teddy Montgomery in the 90210 reboot.
When he showed up to Dancing With the Stars rehearsals wearing a backpack to cover up a distinctive tattoo on his calf, fans recognized him.
Donovan posted a photo of himself stretching in what appeared to be the Dancing With the Stars studio after being recognized.
Who Else Is Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars?

Charli DAmelio, a TikTok star and influencer, was the first celebrity to join Dancing With the Stars season 31.
According to TMZ, DAmelio and her mother, Heidi, are both expected to join the cast for the coming season. Sources say Heidi and Charli will be competing against one another on the next season of the show.
According to Burtt, other confirmed celebrities at the time of writing include comedian Wayne Brady and deaf actor Daniel Durant.
There will be a total of 15 pairings, meaning there will be ten celebrities to be announced in the coming weeks. The whole cast will be revealed on September 8, 2022 on Good Morning America.
So far, the cast list that has officially been released includes the judges, hosts, and some professional dancers.
Witney Carson, Daniella Karagach, Cheryl Burke, Brandon Armstrong, Pasha Pashkov, and Artem Chigvintsev, the first professional dancers in the cast for the season 31
Peta Murgatroyd, Koko Iwasaki, Emma Slater, Val Chmerkovskiy, Alan Bersten, Artem Chigvintsev, and Louis Van Amstel are among the eight professional dancers who have not been confirmed.
The troupe will make a return to Dancing With the Stars for season 31. Although not officially released by Disney+, the announcement was made by Burtt.

Members of the troupe are professional dancers who did not receive a celebrity partner, but are still members of the cast. They fill in if something happens with another professional dancer, they act as backup dancers, and they participate in opening numbers as well as any other professional dance numbers throughout the season.

Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars will premiere on Monday, September 19, 2022. The official cast announcement will be broadcast on Good Morning America on September 8.
