In Dead by Daylight, all Raccoon City Police Department maps have changed ...

For the Project W chapter update, the Raccoon City Police Department map had several changes. These changes were made to address some players concerns with the map's overall layout. Now, the map has been split into two different locations.

Raccoon City Police Department map changes

Although the two maps are divided into a West and East wing, both have the same lobby area. It serves as the focal point for both maps, and they each have additional outdoor locations, allowing Survivors to go to the exterior of the Police Department without having to spend more time away from other generators.

The West Wing is home to the S.T.A.R.S office, the Dark Room, the Linen Room, the East Office, the Fire Escape, the Reception, the Operations Room, the Waiting Room, and the Records Room. Although the lower floors are narrower, Survivors will have more maneuverability to escape the killer.

The East Wing includes the Chiefs Office, the Art Room, the Interrogation and Observation rooms, the Watchmans Room, the East Office, the Library, the Break Room, and the Rooftop. You will be cut off from other entrances leading to the West wing on the upper floor and the Operations and Records rooms on the lower floor.

The Dead by Daylight team has also added additional navigational points to make navigation through these corridors much easier. The corridors are also larger, making it much more difficult for the Killers to run straight after any Survivor.

All players received these enhancements as part of the Project W chapter update.
