According to a report by Dexerto, the New York Subliners SMG duo of HyDra and KiSMET will be joined by Priestahh and Skyz in the 2023 Call of Duty League season.
The reports come amid rumors that the NYSL's CoD squad will be rebuilt following their top-six finish in the 2022 CDL Championship in August. Crimsix became an unrestricted free agent one week after the NYSLs' season ended, and the future of HyDra, KiSMET, and PaulEhx has been in the air since.
PaulEhx, who previously stated he was a restricted free agent, will not be a player on the starting roster in 2023, while HyDra and KiSMET will continue to play for the NYSL in 2023, according to sources. However, Priestahh and Skyz have yet to sign the contract, and it appears it's only a matter of time until the New York-based organization announces its Modern Warfare II squad.
Priestahh has been available since he joined the Minnesota RKKR in a poor season that saw the team not make the 2022 CDL playoffs. Skyz became an unrestricted free agent after his third season with the Florida Mutineers, who also failed to qualify for the CDL Champiponship.
PaulEhx will remain on the NYSLs bench for the 2019 NBA season, or if another organization will acquire him from the NYSL. With our official tracker, you can keep up to date with the 2023 CDL preseason league.
