Destiny 2's defiance of Yasmin god rolls and the best bonuses

Destiny 2's defiance of Yasmin god rolls and the best bonuses ...

New sniper rifles enter the loot pool to compete for the top spot in boss damage statistics and Crucible viability with each year of Season 2 growth. Defiance of Yasmin, a sniper rifle returning to Destiny in the refurbished Kings Fall raid, appears to be poised to take the throne with a rare set of bonuses.

Its a 90 RPM Adaptive frame, nestling it comfortably between the high DPS but low damage output of Aggressive frames and the low damage output of their origin traitRunneth Over, which allows it to shine in boss encounters with extended damage phases.

Defiance of Yasmin can be brought into the conversation by itself, but what sets it apart is its perk combinations. In the second column, Firing Line and Vorpal Weapon are available, enabling Defiance of Yasmin in almost every area necessary to perform massive damage against a boss.

Defiance of Yasmin has a lot to offer in terms of gameplay but also tactical advantage. Here are a few of our god rolls for the Kings Fall sniper rifle, which should bring out the best in whatever environment it is brought into.

Destiny 2's defiance of Yasmin god rolls and the greatest perks

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
  • Magazine: Tactical Mag or Extended Mag
  • First perk: Ensemble or Lead From Gold
  • Second perk: Firing Line or Vorpal Weapon
  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • First perk: Snapshot Sights
  • Second perk: Opening Shot or Moving Target

Defiance of Yasmin is one of the most well-equipped special weapons in Destiny 2 for solo play, although the presence of Vorpal Weapon and Focused Furys makes for a great substitute roll.

Defiance of Yasmin has some of the finest PvE rolls you could hope for from a PvP sniper rifle, unlike Opening Shot and Moving Target on the same weapon, although players are often forced to choose one over the other for maximum consistency in the Crucible.

This sniper rifle has a lot to love, but there are a wealth of other bonus choices and combinations that can satisfy both niche playstyles and specific preferences.

Ensemble and Shoot To Loot are vying for the top spot in the first perk column for a roll of Defiance of Yasmin suitable for endgame raids and raid boss encounters. While Ensembles' bonuses are more apparent, Shoot To Loot instead offers safety.

Unlike reloading weapons from reserves from a distance during a time-sensitive encounter, taking on the role of Grandmaster Nightfalls or Master-difficulty raids is much simpler when you arent risking life and limb to pick up valuable ammo bricks that have fallen in the middle of a group of combatants.

If you encounter an extended damage event, Lead From Gold is a good PvE option to consider. Yasmin will inherently burn through the majority of its ammo reserves during any extended damage phase, so the fact that even a heavy ammo brick will provide ammunition to this weapon can make those situations much less dangerous.

Snapshot Sights is still the go-to weapon for many PvP players, as they prefer a more immediate scope, able to strike the first shot of a fight before they become flinched off the line. This is one of the main selling points of this weapon, which will no doubt be a common sight in Crucible soon enough.

Firefly isnt a typical pick for this column, but there are a few niche rolls it can use here for some fun and unique playstyles. Demolitionists are particularly useful for removing large groups of enemies that all count into Demolitionists' ability to generate grenade energy. Daring players might try to avoid striking too close together when casting the opening headshot.

Osmosis is a must-have if you want to be able to make use of Font of Might. After the 3.0 rework to the Light subclasses, Defiance of Yasmin has had a lot of appeal.

No Distractions is more than likely to be the weakest perk choice in this column, but it can still be a decent PvP perk in a PvP meta where long-range weapons such as High-Impact pulse rifles and Dead Mans Tale are not suitable.

Firing Lines' 20 percent bonus precision damage when standing near two or more allies makes it an excellent choice for the majority of boss encounters in Destiny 2, with very few perks capable of offering increases even close in comparison. For any hardcore endgame Guardian, having a roll in your vault with Firing Line for raiding is a must.

When you take Defiance of Yasmin into solo content or in harder-to-activate content, Vorpal Weapon and Focused Fury, both provide decent damage boosts to the weapon, ideal for killing Champions in situations where anti-Champion mods exist for kinetic sniper rifles.

Demolitionist may appear to be an odd choice for this column and this weapon, but its capability to generate grenade energy is a useful tool in any situation. Combining it with Firefly or Osmosis can transform Defiance of Yasmin into a weapon of greater utility than a damage dealer, allowing for a grenade build with a lesser difficulty content.

Opening Shots and Moving Targets are two classics of a PvP roll for any sniper rifle, providing significant boosts to the all-important aim assist stat that can give any player more control when aiming for the headshot on their opponent.

Slickdraw is unable to make an impression in the face of many other popular and consistent PvP options. Significantly improved handling can allow you to prepare Defiance of Yasmin before your opponents can draw on you, but the negative impact to target acquisition can make the first shot in the fight you now have much harder to land.
