Leena Xu, a former TSM FTX president, has joined the Sentinels, according to numerous sources. Her work with OfflineTV will continue and will not directly relate to the Sentinels.
According to reports, Leena has joined the Sentinels in a financial management role and has played an active role in the organization internally. Tarik was also a part of the negotiations to acquire former Counter-Strike player and VALORANT streamer Jensen last week.
Leena is well-known for her work with the former North American organization TSM, which has expanded her abilities into the wider esports arena. Since 2012, she has been a part of the esports operations and marketing division at the organization.
In November 2021, Leenas' boyfriend and former TSM League of Legends player Doublelift resigned from her position at TSM. Part of the resignation was attributed to the management at the company.
Leena joined OfflineTV, a streaming company staffed with well-known artists such as Pokimane and Disguised Toast, after her TSM departure.
Sentinels is headed by CEO Rob Moore, a former vice chairman of Paramount Pictures, and co-president Eric Ma. Moore told Dot Esports last month that the organization wants to replicate some of the success of TSM in the Riot Games FPS tactical shooter VALORANT.
Moore said the Sentinels are determined to outperform VALORANT the way TSM and G2 did for the League.
