Glynis Barber, who plays Norma Crow in Hollyoaks, has promised a major surprise for her.

In April, Norma, better known as the fearsome Undertaker, appeared on the Channel 4 soap, posing a dangerous threat to popular characters like Ste Hay, Sienna Blake, and Warren Fox.

Glynis has revealed a hidden agenda that explains Norma's interest in the village in an exclusive new interview with Inside Soap.

"Everyone is asking why she came to the village, and the real reason will come out in September during the big stunt episodes," Glynis explained.

"It will alter how viewers perceive her." I can't say any more, but there are a lot of big moments that we shot on a very exciting location, and people will be thinking: 'Oh my God, what now?'

Hollyoaks CEOs have previously stated that the village's autumn event would include a carnival.

As part of the stunt week, Digital Spy has also exclusively shared plans for an hour-long episode.

Glynis replied: "It's not that she has a heart, but it's covered in Teflon and difficult to get to. For to survive as a woman managing a gangster empire for this long, she will be killed the moment she shows weakness.

"Norma cannot be sentimental, and a heart is an indulgence, a luxury she simply cannot afford."

Exclusive photoshoots and interviews with Glynis and her Hollyoaks co-stars will be presented this week at the Inside Soap Awards 2022.

Glynis is in the running for Best Villain at the ceremony following the Undertaker's brutal behavior in recent months.

The most exclusive pictures and interviews with the Hollyoaks cast may be obtained from the latest issue of Inside Soap magazine, which is on sale Tuesday, September 6.
