Yu-Gi-Oh! CROSS DUEL is now available, with players around the world having access to a new type of card battle that incorporates elements from many franchise formats.
CROSS DUEL is a free-to-play game that aims to bring players the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! they know to mobile devices. It is a different battle system that pits four players against each other in a free-for-all Duel. Players will be required to use three lanes to attack and defend against each other, as well as Spell and Trap card usage over eight turns.
Konami is introducing a novel way to entertain fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. However, the expansion of the game will not be as widespread as Master Duel.
Is Yu-Gi-Oh!CROSS DUEL available on PC and console?
CROSS DUEL is going the Duel Links route and is only starting off on mobile.
The game is currently available for download on Android and iOS devices, utilizing a free-to-play strategy with microtransactions. Additional content updates will be posted live frequently, including new cards to collect, new characters to team up with, and raids to clear.
If CROSS DUEL develops enough momentum, it might be released on PC in the future, similar to Duel Links and Master Duel, so the gameplay might not be as effective on non-touchscreen systems.
