Although Vanguard weapons continue to dominate Warzone Season 5, a forgotten Cold War LMG that virtually nobody uses has the highest win rate in the game.
Vanguard weapons have dominated Warzone since they arrived, using their ten attachments and long-range scopes to outshine Modern Warfare and Cold War guns in almost every way.
MW and Cold War guns still keep up with Vanguards, and while guns such as the Armaguerra and Cooper are among the most popular, it's actually a forgotten Cold War LMG that's consistently bringing players victories.
According to WZ Ranked, the weapon with Warzones highest win rate is Black Ops Cold Wars MG 82 LMG, which has an incredible 7.49 win rate. To compare, the UGM-8 has a win rate of 5.23, and Vanguards PPSh-41 has 4.44.
Back in the Cold War, players were clamoring for nerfs almost immediately after it arrived. It remained a solid choice due to its low recoil and quick TTK, but its astonishingly high win rate proves it can be used again in Season 5.
The MG 82s' win rate is so surprising because it is only 0.04, making it one of the least used weapons in the game. However, it still has a decent K/D and huge win rate, so it might be worth considering in Season 5 before Warzone 2.
Best win rate MG 82 Warzone loadout
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 16.4 Task Force
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
This is the MG 82 loadout that has both the highest K/D ratio and the highest win rate, sacrificing additional ammunition for mobility.
The Agency Suppressor and the 16.4 Task Force barrel increase the weapons range and accuracy, while the Field Agent Grip aids in recoil control. The Serpent Wrap reduces the ADS time.
If youre planning to try out the MG 82 again in Warzone Pacific Season 5, this is the best loadout.
Later this year, Modern Warfare 2 will add an entirely new weapons arsenal to Warzone 2, so take a look at how to prepare for the reveal at Call of Duty Next.
