GlaDOS Actress Really Wants Valve To Make Portal 3?

GlaDOS Actress Really Wants Valve To Make Portal 3? ...

The release of Portal and Portal 2 via the Portal: Companion Collection on Switch was undoubtedly one of the greatest surprises of the year. The games have been regarded as two of the greatest video games of all time, and the ports run like butter on Nintendo's hybrid console, without doubt introducing a wide range of new players to the world of Aperture Science, as well as famous characters like Wheatley and GlaDOS.

One of the most common jokes about Valve is that the publisher is seemingly incapable of completing a third entry into their popular IP. Franchises like Left 4 Dead, Portal, and Half-Life have all come to an end with their respective sophomore titles (though you may argue that Half-Life Alyx is the third mainline entry to the Half-Life series), but this hasn't stopped fans from requesting and petitioning for more Valve goodness.

Ellen McLain, the well-known actress who plays Portal's main antagonist GlaDOS, has recently expressed her desire for a new Portal franchise entry: KIWI TALKZ

"Well, write in! Valve! You've got my approval. Say "Ellen wants to do a Portal 3!"

Ellen makes an attempt to ridicule GlaDOS in a somewhat jokey manner. She goes on to state that an actor's job is to ensure that a character doesn't feel stale after several portrayals, stating that Valve always provided excellent guidance on how GlaDOS should be presented in the games.

Erik Wolpaw, who wrote and directed Portal and Portal 2, expressed similar desire for a new Portal title in a previous interview with KIWI TALKZ, saying he would "work on another Portal in a second, but I cant make it happen by myself".

Dear readers, what do you think? Would you like to see Valve tackle a third entry to the Portal series? Leave a comment below and let us know!
