NBA 2K23 isn't yet released, but you can watch it now on September 9 to see how it works. This means we can get a pretty solid grasp of how the game looks and plays before its actual release.

NBA 2K23 is getting underway with a series of major announcements ahead of the September 9 release of the game. Last week, we learned about the Dreamer Edition and J. Coles' participation in the MyCareers plot. Last week, we learned that NBA legends Kevin Garnett and Tracy McGrady will also play as NPCs in the story.

The first official NBA 2K23 gameplay footage has been released by 2K. You play in historic games that featured Michael Jordan, and you can achieve various feats in real life. It's the closest we've ever come or likely will ever get to stepping in the shoes of His Airness.

NBA 2K23 gameplay is amazingly smooth, player movement is almost lifelike, and player contact appears to be much more effective than ever before. The new stamina bar system, designed to reduce excessively dribbling the ball, is one of the few NBA 2K23 gameplay features that will enlighten the community.

The MyCareer embargo will go into effect later today, and we expect a lot, if not all, information about the mode to be made public before pre-ordering NBA 2K23. However, our NBA 2K23 Editions guide could assist you.
