Mila Kunis has everything going for her in a new teaser for Luckiest Girl Alive, which features the star as Ani FaNelli, a newly appointed New York Times writer with money, fashion, and, most importantly, "the edge." Everything from her perfectly constructed life threatens to crumble before her eyes as a documentarian approaches her about an incident that happened at her school years ago.
Ani's near-perfect life is shown in the teased trailer, which includes everything that's gone right for her recently, from the job to the lavish wedding she's planning to marry, and everything seems too perfect. Even the fortunate ones aren't without their flaws and horrible events, and for Ani, disaster begins when she's approached about a true-crime documentary.
Ani's darker side emerges from the moment she discovers everything about her past as a shambles. The situation worsens when a former classmate makes allegations that further engulf her with her past, even if she does not know it. Even when he threatens her, it appears not all is over board.
Finn Wittrock, Chiara Aurelia, Scoot McNairy, Dalmar Abuzeid, Alex Barone, Carson MacCormac, Jennifer Beals, and Connie Britton round out the cast of Luckiest Girl Alive. Knoll and Barker executive produce with Lisa Sterbakov, Shayne Fiske Goldner, and Steve Hutensky.
Kunis will return to her breakout role as Jackie Burkhart in the That 90s Show in two future projects, alongside Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp who return as Red and Kitty.
Luckiest Girl Alive will be released on September 30 and Netflix on October 7: Look out the trailer below:
