At the end of last month, Koei Tecmo's Tokyo Game Show lineup would include a new game from Gust, the creator of Atelier.
The Atelier series has released a 25th-anniversary trailer, not only highlighting the series' extensive history but also teasing a brand new game at the end, which appears to be the first glimpse into the next chapter.
This new Atelier game might be quite unusual, although there are a lot of requests for Ryza 3. At this stage though, it may be a new sequel or even a whole new standalone adventure.
Fans may expect to learn more during this year's Tokyo Game Show, which will begin next week on September 16th. Other Koei Tecmo titles that will feature alongside this one include Nobunagas Ambition: Hadou and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream was the most recent entry in the Atelier series earlier this year. It followed on from Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and The Secret Fairy in 2021.
