Tori Anderson of NCIS Hawai'i has revealed a surprising difficulty she encountered while filming scenes between her and Lucy Tara (Yasmine Al-Bustami).

The first season of the spin-off series recently came to a conclusion, with the couple deciding to give things a second go.

Tori stated in a recent interview that the two actors auditioned over Zoom, meaning that the show's creators didn't realize there was a significant height difference until they met in person.

"And flats don't always go well with pencil skirts, but my goodness, the wardrobe department made it work. It wasn't a fun game, because of the height difference.

"That's why there are couples everywhere in the world who have this kind of height difference, and it's unsurprising."

"But it doesn't necessarily lend itself to videography, because then you have strange angles and everything!" So, yes, Yaz had to step on a few boxes, and I had to put some flats on! But we managed it!

A major crossover event with the main NCIS series has been confirmed while the program's second season, which will begin later this month.

The NCIS team will return to Hawai'i to look for a dangerous suspect in the episode, which uncovers a complex network and a much larger, more menacing strategy.

Seasons 1-19 of NCIS are now available on Disney+ in the United Kingdom.
