Maika Monroe Doesn't Feel Like Sheself in the 'Significant Other' Trailer

Maika Monroe Doesn't Feel Like Sheself in the 'Significant Other' Trailer ...

Significant Other, an all-new sci-fi thriller coming to streaming services next month on October 7, has been released by Paramount+. The two are a young couple who decides to embark on a backpacking trip through a forest higher in the Pacific Northwest, though the trip quickly turns south when they discover that they aren't alone in these woods.

Ruth, who was found in the woods by a group of strangers, attempts to explain what transpired, and Harry appears to be falling from a cliff. The notion of "I haven't been feeling like myself" is repeated over and over, slowing the process.

As part of the company's intention to develop more timely horror and thriller films, Paramount Players acquired the rights to the project in a bidding war in 2021. Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, who previously worked together as directors of the films Body and Villains, are joining Berk and Olsen as well as the film's actors, both of whom are executive producers.

Significant Other will be available exclusively on Paramount+ on October 7. The film will also be given its world premiere at New York Comic Con the night before, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in Room 401 at the Javitz Convention Center. After the screening, the cast and filmmakers will talk about the story's creation.

'Significant Other' follows a young couple Harry (Jake Lacy, White Lotus) and Ruth (Maika Monroe, It Follows) who go backpacking in the Pacific Northwest. Things take a dangerous turn when they realize they may not be alone.
