Wild Arena Survivors is a new Far Cry mobile game in every respect except for its name, and that's apparently no coincidence. This 40-player PvP free-to-play game was supposed to bear the Far Cry brand, but its ludicrous reception ruined its chances.

The exotic environments echo Far Cry 6's Cuban style and there are animals to fight and control. The player also uses a range of rifles.

Wild Arena Survivors was originally intended to be a Far Cry spin-off, although the similarities may be a coincidence.

Far Cry: Wild Call is a title that was initially intended for the game, but the game was apparently soft-launched without the Far Cry branding in order to see if it would be successful enough to merit the Far Cry rebrand. In that respect, the game appears to have failed to meet expectations.

According to a source, Ubisoft spent more money than they should have spent on development, and that [the quiet release of the game] is an attempt to recover what they have earned from releasing a fully real-time multiplayer game. If there are learnings, it feeds the larger organization.
