Wild Arena Survivors, a new Ubisoft mobile game, was initially intended to be a Far Cry spinoff ...

Wild Arena Survivors was released by Ubisoft on September 2, but youd be forgiven if you werent aware of its release on iOS and Android. It wasnt released with much fanfare, nor is it mentioned anywhere on Ubisofts social media feeds or even its news blog. That might be because the game was supposedly supposed to be a Far Cry spinoff before that association was terminated.

Wild Arena Survivors was once called Far Cry: Wild Call, according to a reliable source. The game was released as is in an effort to recover some of the development costs.

Wild Arena Survivors is an isometric battle royale, according to the author. Players may enter the arena as a solo player or as a duo, and they may use the wild animals on the map to attack other players. That's why this setting appears in Far Cry 6.

Another Ubisoft news that was made around the same time might be the absence of Wild Arena Survivors. Assassins Creed Mirage was announced as the next game in the series, and the whole reveal will be part of Ubisoft Forward 2022.
