New fighters or multiversus new characters speculation

New fighters or multiversus new characters speculation ...

Do you want to know all about the new Multiversus characters? The popular fighting game is already generating a lot of interest after Season 1. It's also handy that Multiversus is a platform fighter similar to Super Smash Bros, and it's entirely free to play on PC and consoles.

Every season, new Multiversus characters are introduced to the game, and each of these fighters has their rightful place somewhere on the Multiversus tier list. It's a tricky task as, eventually, you may train them in as many Multiversus bonuses as you want, but new fighters can offer completely different strategies.

Confirmed new Multiversus characters

Four new Multiversus characters are expected to join the roster during Season 1 and here's who's coming during Season 1:

  • Gizmo (Gremlins)
  • Rick (Rick and Morty)
  • Black Adam (DC)
  • Stripe (Gremlins)

Gizmo looks to be a bit camera shy. We'll need a few more days to get him out of his box. He'll begin his roster on Thursday, 9/8.

Gizmo is set to debut on Multiversus on September 8 and is one of the most adorable characters on the roster. His inclusion is a little harder to pin down, but he nonetheless fulfills the requirement of being a popular Warner Bros character.

The release date for Rick and Morty Season 6 is expected to be sometime this year, making it sound like a good idea to include the dimension-hopping nihilistic scientist. Rick C-137 is no stranger to multiverse travel, often getting into feuds with other versions of himself and his grandson Morty.

Rick is a Mage-type character with a similar emphasis on ranged strikes due to his arsenal of weapons and similarly weaponized inventions. His portal gun may play a significant role in his gameplay strategy.

The LeBron character reveal trailer also gives us a taste of the new Rick and Morty-themed stage. Set on a massive music stage with several Cromulons floating in the background, they're likely to judge if your fight is entertaining enough to spare humanity.

We can see two previously unseen fighters in an accidentally leaked poster on the Xbox Store, discovered by Santa Ricky. It's unsurprising that Multiversus is getting the DC anti-hero from the forthcoming film, although this Black Adams look is more in line with the comics.

Stripe's inclusion in Multiversus Season 1 was initially not apparent. However, now that we know that Gizmo is also coming to the game, it makes sense for him to be a Bruiser.

The possibilities of a multiversus new character are rife.

While we know that Rick and Morty will be returning to Multiversus, there have been leaks and teases of at least one other character that we anticipate to see more of in the future.

Several reports suggested that there would be a Lord of the Rings interplay. However, the greatest hint we can give is a hidden feature in the Trophys E.D.G.E. stage. Some very observant people pointed out that you can just about see the Eye of Saurons reflection in the water. This would make sense, given that Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is set to release in September.

Dexterto has also leaked a photo that shows off several fighters from an initial game build. All of the playable fighters shown here are from the final game, except Gandalf the Grey, so take this with a pinch of salt.

This image also shows off a stage weve never seen before, and we're honestly not sure where it was set. It's just that it's named Lion Guard, has yellow banners with lion heads in the background, and has floating islands in the background. It's possible that Reindog is an entirely unique character created for Multiversus. However, this stage may hint at another person.

Multiversus characters wed like to see

Given that we dont have many characters in the pipeline, we thought it would be fun to make our own playable fighters. Only Warner Bros characters count.

We do have only one DC character that we might consider a villain in the current roster, Harley Quinn. Since Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are all in Multiversus, a few supervillains might work nicely. Lex Luthor in his mech suit acting as a tank or Cheetah as an assassin-type fighter would fit the bill nicely.

Bugs Bunny and Taz being the current representatives of the Looney Tunes golden age, we could easily include the likes of Marvin the Martian or Daffy Duck on the roster. So why not include at least one of the Flintstones' colourful cast members in your lineup?

Outside of this, the world is our oyster. Following the advice from the PCGamesN team, here are some of our top picks:

  • Skeletor (Masters of the Universe) he would be a formidable bruiser-type character who would sneer as part of his taunt.
  • Brienne of Tarth (Game of Thrones) she would be a nearly unstoppable tank class, showing expert swordsmanship in both the novels and the TV series. It would make sense as Arya is in the game andthe House of the Dragon spinoff series is nearly here.
  • Mad Max (Mad Max: Fury Road) because who doesnt want to see him walk up to the Iron Giant and kneecap it with a sawn-off shotgun?
  • Michael Jordan (Space Jam) if LeBron James can be here, why not the original leader of the Tune Squad?
  • Yakko, Wakko, and Dot (Animaniacs) to embrace the chaos, why not have all three as swappable modes for one character like in the Mega Drive game?
  • Morpheus (The Matrix) all of the Matrix characters could work here, but Morpheus mastery of martial arts would make him a formidable assassin type.
