Red Dead Redemption 2 receives a significant Red Dead Online update as well as new missions

Red Dead Redemption 2 receives a significant Red Dead Online update as well as new missions ...

Rockstar Games has decided to focus on the GTA 6 release date, instead of Red Dead Redemption 2, which was originally meant to be a complete game. However, a major Red Dead Online update has been released on Steam, bringing a number of new solo missions to the neglected online open world.

The latest Red Dead Redemption 2 update seems to have caught players unawares, as the game now has more than 5GB worth of data.

The update addresses a variety of minor issues in Red Dead Online, such as getting stuck in game lobbies or malicious players being able to kick other people out, but it does not appear to aim to alleviate some of the issues, glitches, and exploits that have been encountered in recent weeks, including one that causes NPCs and animals to despawn.

Then there are a few more missions. It's not quite the amount of DLC we'd like for Red Dead Online's last major overhaul, but for players who like to experience RDO solo, this update will be great news. Three new telegram missions are now available from the post office. These missions are called In Bad Faith, Strong Medicine, and Sow and Reap, and you can test them out for yourself as soon as the Red Dead Online update has been downloaded.
