The 'Cyberpunk 2077' trailer announces the game's first expansion ...

The first glimpse at the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, titled "Phantom Liberty," has been released. New locations, new characters, and the return of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand are highlighted in the new teaser trailer.

The information about the expansion's 2023 release date was shared during the Night City Wire stream on CD Projekt RED's Twitch channel. The teaser trailer concludes with a ship colliding near V, who is heard saying, "You know swearing that oath is a bad idea."

The highly anticipated Update 1.6 comes out today, along with new features such as transmog, which allows you to change clothes into other outfits, while still retaining a certain look or style. Roach Race is a side scroller that is also available on the app store as its own game based on the adorable and glitchy horse Roach from the Witcher series.

The "Edgerunners Update" is a sequel to the popular 10-episode Netflix series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners from the acclaimed anime studio Trigger, which will be released next week. Update 1.6 is also the last update that will be released to the last-gen versions of the game, so future updates for the RPG title will only be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Phantom Liberty will be released sometime in 2023. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on September 13th. See the new teaser trailer for the 2020 RPG title below.
