Taika Waititis' post-Avengers: Endgame stint failed to go as planned, as they might have hoped. Star-Lord, who is mourning the passing of Gamora, may have needed some TLC while reuniting with his new family, the Guardians of the Galaxy, but everything would not have been possible without the existential Thor. So in this new deleted scene from the upcoming Love and Thunder Blu-ray, which will be released exclusively on Polygon, fans of the Marvel Cinema

Quill asks Thor for an assist on a planet that was intended to be a relaxation destination. It turns out to be an all-out war. Waititi went far enough in this movie to create practical battle effects all the way, yet have an unfinished Korg bumbling in the background. And if the scene had actually made it into the film, it would have been more of the more darkly comedic bits in Marvel Cinematic Universe history.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on Disney Plus on Thursday (with a digital release scheduled for September 8), but the Blu-ray includes deleted scenes and other exclusive extras. The disc will be available on shelves on September 27.
