Jake Paul, a YouTuber and social media influencer, has announced that his next boxing opponent will be Anderson Silva, who has won several titles in the UFC middleweight division, according to reports. The fight will take place on October 29 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Paul announced his intention to put an end to his boxing break as early as August and return to the ring as soon as August. After two fights with potential opponents in Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr., the younger Pauls boxing return was constantly pushed further and further back.

Both fighters will have to weigh in at 185 pounds to compete in a heavyweight bout.
Silva, a retired MMA legend, has recently obtained his Arizona boxing license. Silva is known as the greatest player in combat sports history, with four total fights from 1998 to 2021, and has a 3-1 record heading into his next bout.
Paul is credited with being the face of influencer boxing, accumulating an undefeated 5-0 record. In his bouts against Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, Paul is used to squaring off against combat sport veterans. Silva is undoubtedly Pauls most experienced opponent yet, and on October 29, fans will see if Paul can rise to the challenge.
