Elijah Bynum's A24s neo-noir coming-of-age crime drama is enticing with nostalgia for the 1990s and bursting with energy from its young cast, which includes Timothee Chalamet, Alex Roe, and Maika Monroe. The film follows Daniel, a 1991 kid who was sent to his aunt after his father's death, who starts a drug dealing business that quickly becomes profitable but threatens to swallow them both alive.
