Apex Legends players explain what's required to compete against Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 ...

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are expected to become major competitors in the FPS game, and Apex Legends may require additional content to keep players engaged.

While Apex Legends had an excellent Season 14, reaching new heights in popularity, the upcoming Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 releases are expected to shake up the FPS scene.

Apex Legends has had a lot of success in terms of player count, with the game consistently having more players than Warzone for several seasons.

Massive streamers like Dr Disrespect and NICKMERCS made the switch to Apex Legends, claiming the game much more than Call of Dutys battle royale; however, with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, things may change.

Grrt believes that Respawn Entertainment must offer more content in order to compete with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, with more to be revealed at the Call of Duty Next event.

Grrt thinks dedicated Apex Legends players would stay on Apex for the rest of their lives after the release of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, but it's more about the larger casual player base, as it's these players who make the difference when it comes to growth. According to Grrt, their departure would hurt Apex Legends.

More content is on the way in Apex Legends Season 15, according to leaks, and a brand-new Moon map is said to be in the works. Apex also hasn't seen a new weapon in some time, so maybe a new weapon will shake the meta up.

With Grrt hoping that all of this content combined with a new Season 15 Legend will keep casual players engaged.

See if this is what is required to compete with the highly anticipated Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone sequels. Until then, check out the leaks and rumors surrounding The Division Heartland, which might compete with Modern Warfare 2's DMZ mode.
