With the games long-awaited expansion, samurai, you now have a new plot to explore in the colorful and beautiful world of Cyberpunk 2077.
A recent teaser reveals a new character who talks to V, the playable character of Cyberpunk 2077. She asks V to take an oath similar to the Pledge of Allegiance, declaring that she will faithfully serve the New United States of America.
New locations are shown throughout the video, such as a massive industrial complex, a massive glass triangle-shaped structure, and a lush indoor greenery. V fights through many different enemy types from foot soldiers to mechs, deploying a wide range of different weapons, including a monowire, a pistol, and a katana.
Keanu Reeves reprises his role as Johnny Silverhand. He can be heard warning V that taking the oath was a bad move before a large ship crashes from the sky and seemingly crushes the player underneath. This DLC has been anticipated for a long time by CD Projekt Red fans, especially since the game has left an underwhelming legacy.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been subjected to constant scrutiny since its release in 2020, due to the large amount of bugs it had when it was first released, as well as complaints of low playable content within the world itself. There were also many delays with the promised downloadable content, which was initially scheduled to be released this year alongside a free next-gen console update.
Next year, the Phantom Liberty DLC will be released.
