Smooyas' CS:GO team is in discussions with a British organization ahead of Europe's RMR tournament ...

According to Evgeniy Aunkere Karyat, one of the players on Benched Heroes, the ruthless CS:GO team headed by former BIG and Fnatic AWPer Owen smooya Butterfield is in discussions to play for a British organization in the IEM Rio Major Europe Regional Major Ranking (RMR) event in October.

Smooya, Aunkere, and Rodion are all worried that Smyk, Micha MICHU Muller, and Bugra Calyx Arkn, all of whom finished in the Europe RMR, have surprised many in the CS:GO community. They had previously stated that they wanted a sponsorship to cover the cost of the trip to Malta in October, when the RMR will be held.

According to Escore News, Smooya was approached by a British organization. We will be competing under their tag instead of Benched Heroes if we achieve an agreement on price. I will certainly disclose or at least imply at how much we received or if it does not happen.

After defeating Illuminar 2-1 in the fifth-sixth-place decider, Benched Heroes clinched a place in the RMR. The mix team reversed the all-Polish team and counted on a spectacular performance from smooya to win the match.

Benched Heroes will compete in the Europe RMR B tournament alongside teams such as Natus Vincere, ENCE, Heroic, Vitality, OG, BIG, and MOUZ. Only eight of the 16 CS:GO squads will advance to the IEM Rio Major in November.
