Taika Waititis' post-Avengers: Endgame stint did not go as smoothly as some may have hoped. Star-Lord, who is mourning the death of Gamora, could have used some TLC while reuniting with his new family, the Guardians of the Galaxy. But with an existential Thor in tow, nothing would ever be that easy. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have an even clearer understanding of Quill's eye twitching as he approaches 20

Quill asks Thor for an assist on a planet that was meant to be a relaxation destination. It turns out to be an all-out conflict. Waititi got far enough in this scene to have practical battle effects popping off every which way, but have an unfinished Korg bumbling in the background. If the scene had actually made it into the film, it would have been more of the darker darkly comedic moments in Marvel Cinematic Universe history.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on Disney Plus on Thursday (with a digital release scheduled for September 8), but the Blu-ray includes deleted scenes and other exclusive extras. The disc will be available on shelves on September 27.
