Any of Nintendo's largest games would never be allowed to see the light of day before their official release, right? If Paper Mario, Metroid Dread, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and now, Splatoon 3, we'd rather be cautious and keep those spoiler bars at hand.
The Splatoon 3 story was first reported on last week on several Reddit pages thanks to earlier versions of the game being released online. Therefore, we are here to declare once and for all that the Splatoon spoiler season has arrived.
We don't want any of you lovely people to get a fresh-game opportunity ruined by a rogue screenshot or a clip slipping into your timeline on September 9th, so we'd suggest using Twitter's handy mute function to get rid of all things 'Splatoon', 'Splatoon 3,' and like content.
The art of avoiding spoilers is a sloppy art, and we understand the agony of turning your back on all news for months only to see it disappear in your feed the day before it was released; but the end is near, fellow Splatters. There are only a few days till you can finally experience the game in a state of complete originality, so make sure to keep up the spoiler shields until then!
