Dispatch Games Is Supposedly Dead After Endless Delays and Empty Words

Dispatch Games Is Supposedly Dead After Endless Delays and Empty Words ...

Dispatch Games' bleak state has apparently reached its sad and inevitable conclusion in what may only be described as a veritable catastrophe.

Seafoam Gaming, who has been keeping an eye on the situation, has announced that Dispatch Games is no longer operating, and that customers who wait for deliveries of physical games like Game Tengoku, Radirgy Swag, and Rail Sim will simply not receive the games they paid for, most recently back in June.

Let's get to the facts first, though. Back in 2020, we ran a piece on Dispatch Games' inability to fulfill pre-orders for its games and the apparent lack of communication with customers that followed. The company responded with complete silence and supporters were understandably irritated by the situation.

Dispatch Games has made many attempts to restart its operations, going so far as to avow a new day in a Twitter post that has now been deleted, along with nearly all of its previous communications. The company promised to provide digital codes to gamers who had just received pre-orders of Game Tengoku, and it appears that some people did receive them as promised.

Dispatch Games has been labelled as 'inactive' on the Tennessee State website as of August 9th, 2022, due to the company's failure to pay administrative fees. This follows a similar decision by the California State back in October, which labelled the company as'suspended.'

What does this mean for customers who are waiting for pre-orders or refunds? Sadly, chances are they won't be receiving either. We've reached out to Dispatch Games for further information or responses, but given the company's repeated silence since at least June following repeated promises followed by long periods of nothing, we're cautious.

The whole ordeal has proved a disaster for the company itself, but also for its expectant customers. Dispatch Games should at least explain and justify its actions, or lack thereof.
