Dont Worry, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine, According to Pines Rep: Ridiculous Story ...

The Dont Worry Darling drama is just gonna NOT END.

Pines' representatives have dismissed a now-viral clip of Dont Worry Darling actor Styles spitting on him before sitting next to him at the Venice Film Festival premiere, igniting a ludicrous tale about a brewing conflict.

Chris Pines' representative disclosed this outrageous fact in a statement to IndieWire. It is a total fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly misleading and allows for reckless speculation. There is nothing but respect between these two men, and any suggestion otherwise is a clear attempt to create drama that isn't there.

The viral moment has not been commented on by Harry Styles.

Dont Worry Darling is set in Victory, a fictional 1950s town where everything is as it seems. Florence Pugh plays Styles' onscreen wife, with Pine playing the boss. At the Venice premiere, director Wilde dismissed any notions of a conflict with Pugh.

In a recent Variety cover story, Wilde stated that we just assume the worst from women, and I do not know why. I think the tabloid media is a tool to pit women against one another and to shame them.

Wilde slammed the invented clickbait, stating that Pugh, I had been blown away by her. I loved the film, but I loved her. I was like, Well, she's amazing.'

Shia LaBeouf, a previous Dont Worry Darling actor, reacted angrily to the same Variety cover story, which sparked outrage over the terms of his departure from the project before being replaced by Styles. LaBeouf published text messages, a video, and a letter indicating that he decided to give up the project due to scheduling conflicts.

During the Venice premiere press conference, Wilde shut down questions about LaBeouf, saying the answer is on the internet for reporters to find.

Dont Worry Darling, according to IndieWires, receives a C+ rating. Both actors perform superb performances, which goes beyond a bleak script and a stale narrative.

Pugh is always willing to give, even when the material is beneath the star, according to Erbland. Only Chris Pine seems interested in and able to confront Pugh, to see them face-to-face. However, the film cuts off their contentious relationship after a handful of heartbreaking scenes.
