Season 13 of Netflix's 'The Great British Baking Show' will air next week ...

No more soggy bottoms! The Great British Baking Show will be available on Netflix next week. That's right, everyone's favorite cozy, garden tent baking competition program will be available on the streaming service on September 16 for a lucky thirteenth season.

In a new tweet released today, Netflix states, "It's time to go back to the tent!" The Great British Baking Show returns on September 16 with a new season, and new episodes are added every Friday. The announcement was also accompanied by an image of the new season's hosts, judges, and the fresh batch of contestants all hoping to demonstrate that their skill is hidden somewhere in their sticky puddings.

Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas, who hosted the previous two seasons of the competition series, will lead Season 13 of the show. Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will also be returning for the new season. Paul Hollywood is the series' mainstay, having been a participant since its premiere in 2010.

The series was a smash hit on British television before it reached the United States and was available on Netflix. The contestants are eliminated at the end of each episode, with the stakes and challenges becoming even more intense as the competition draws to a close.

The series also encourages viewers to connect with its contestants, who are all amateur bakers themselves. Each year's batch of contestants includes a wide range of experience, age, background, and baking technique, with some taking bold, almost reckless risks with their stiff peaked meringues.

So, bring a blanket, a hot cuppa, and your favorite homemade toffee biscuits (or store-bought, we won't tell) to enjoy the pleasures of The Great British Baking Show on September 16. You may also see Netflix's announcement here.
