Taylor Sheridans' upcoming series Lioness has added James Jordan, LaMonica Garrett, and Dave Annable to the cast, according to Paramount+. The trio will follow previously announced series leads Zoe Saldana and Laysla De Oliveira.
Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira) will play Joe, the program's station chief who is tasked with training, managing, and leading her female undercover agents in a bid to defy a terrorist organization from within. Annable will play Neil, Joe's husband and father of their two daughters.
Jordan, Garrett, and Annable have been Sheridan's long-time collaborators. He has played significant roles in the filmmakers series 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown, as well as Paramounts' award-winning series Yellowstone. He also starred alongside Angelina Jolie in Sheridans Those Who Wish Me Dead and alongside Jeremy Renner in Wind River. Other credits include The Terminal List, Delilah, and CW's Arrowverse.
Annable, a Yellowstone alum, has recently reprised his role in Season 4. He is also seen in a recurring role on CW's Walker, among others. Along with 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown, Sheridan is also developing the next series Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone, and Bass Reeves, led by Billy Bob Thornton.
Sheridan will executive produce alongside David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Jill Wagner, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone, and John Hillcoat. Nicole Kidman's production company, Blossom Films, is based at MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
Paramount hasn't revealed a release date yet, but in the meantime, you can see the series synopsis and Garrett's conversation about the Yellowstone Prequel and Sheridan here:
