Nicolas Cage and Joel Kinnaman will play the Devil in the Thriller Sympathy for the Devil ...

Nicolas Cage and Joel Kinnaman will star in Yuval Adler's next psychological thriller, Sympathy for the Devil, which was directed by Luke Paradise (Lost on a Mountain in Maine), which has already begun production in Las Vegas.

Sympathy for the Devil is a story about a driver (Kinnaman) who encounters a posh passenger (Cage) one day, leading to a potentially fatal incident as the ride progresses. "A driver discovers himself in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse when forced to drive a mysterious man, The Passenger."

Allan Ungar, the filmmaker who co-produced the film, said the film will be a "unique and gritty" experience for the audience.

Adler is best known for directing the 2013 film, Bethlehem, which won several awards, including the Venice Days Award and six Israeli Film Academy Awards. Cage is well-known for his recent appearance in the critically acclaimed film, Pig.

Kinnaman has extensive acting experience, including roles in The Suicide Squad, The House of Cards, and The Killing. He is currently the lead actor in Apple TV+'s For All Mankind, and will take part in John Woo's next action thriller, Silent Night.

The majority of the film's major details are kept under wraps, but with the star-studded names attached to it, as well as the film's intriguing premise and title, we can expect Sympathy for the Devil to be good, terrifying fun.

Capstone Global is in charge of worldwide sales of Sympathy for the Devil, which will be presented to buyers during the coming Toronto International Film Festival, where it is expected to premiere. Stay tuned to Collider for further information.
