Wild Rift will have four new champions from the main League of Legends roster as well as a host of other cool tweaks in the upcoming Power Spike patch. On Monday, Riot shared a 3.4 patch preview that highlighted some of the greatest changes that will come to the mobile game on September 15.

Gwen is on her way to the game. Due to the shadows of the Shadow Isles, the hallowed seamstress is a doll that has been brought to life by her gigantic spectral scissors to snip through the competition in the solo lane. Gwen is an AP skirmisher who will be the first new champion to join Wild Rift.

Yone is Yasuo's brother, and Yone has come back from the dead, which is awkward. He now walks between the living and the dead in Ionia, and hell be following Gwen after Warwick. Vex is a Yordle from the Shadow Isles, and she participated in the Sentinels of Light event as an antagonist to Gwen.

Riot is also adding new meta game improvements to support runners, such as some rune modifications and two new support starting items. These two new powerful items, Riftmaker and Cosmic Drive, aim to give AP champions more choices for the end of the game, as well as a new Wild Pass that allows players to choose their rewards rather than collect them along a linear track.
